Amy Szepanowski doesn't disclose result of Covid-19 test, says it's a 'flu' sickness

Gold Coast ‘wellness influencer’ announced she was going to take a Covid-19 test after suffering from flu-like symptoms, only to keep the result to herself and tell fans she had an unspecified illness.

Amy Szepanowski, 25, a self-described ‘holistic health coach’, told her Instagram followers she was taking a rapid antigen test after experiencing several symptoms of coronavirus – including a fever, body aches, headache, and mild ear and throat pain.

However, she did not disclose the result.

The saga began last week when she told her Instagram followers she was feeling under the weather by sharing a screenshot of her iPhone Notes app with a list of her symptoms, and vowed to get over her sickness ‘in a day or two’.

‘Wednesday prediction: I remember feeling this way in primary school and it would go away in a day or two. I CAN DO THIS,’ she wrote.

Ms Szepanowski, who is the sister of fellow influencers Kate and Chloe Szepanowski, went on to say she ‘wasn’t sure whether she had Covid or not’ and she was going to do a rapid antigen test that afternoon.

However, she never publicly revealed the result of this test, and instead continued to refer to her condition as a ‘sickness’.
