An emotional Dylan Lewis spoke truthfully about the devastation of losing his brother Quinn to suicide on Tuesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The 48-year-old radio host broke down in tears as he told his campmates that he had never spoken publicly about his brother’s death before.  

‘My brother’s name is Quinn. He’s three years younger than me. Obviously we grew up best friends,’ he began.

‘He’s the reason I do music. Had a few mental health issues going on, and 15 years ago, he took his life.’

As he bowed his head and slumped over in grief, Dylan quietly added: ‘Um, suicide is an awful thing for people to have to deal with.’

He then explained that he’d chosen Lifeline as his charity on the reality TV show, and urged people to reach out if they were in need of help.

‘They’re caring, they know what to say, they’re trained. They know what kind of help you need,’ he said.

‘And if you’re worried about someone, you can call Lifeline, they’ll tell you what to do. They’ll tell you some steps to take.’

Dylan advised people not to ‘second-guess yourself’ if they were in two minds about asking for help, adding ‘grief lasts forever’.

He concluded: ‘I’m doing this for Quinny, I’m doing it for all my family and I’m doing it for anyone who’s ever been touched by this.’

In a post on Instagram on Tuesday, Dylan shared a photo of himself with his late brother, and included a heartfelt message. 

‘This is me and my beautiful brother, Quinn. I think about him every day and love him every day and wish he was still with us. Every day,’ he wrote.
