Former Full House star Scott Weinger was pictured for the first time since Bob Saget‘s death.

The 46-year-old actor — who played D.J. Tanner’s boyfriend Steve Hale on the sitcom — was seen glued to his phone while walking the dog on Monday.

After news of Saget’s passing, Weinger fondly called him a ‘big brother.’ The entire Full House cast additionally penned a joint statement in honor of the late comedian.

Scott looked understandably downcast as he was pictured getting a bit of fresh air with his dog.

He wore dark clothing with a pair of checkered vans and seemed taken with his cell phone as he was presumably fielding many texts following Saget’s death.

Weinger starred in Full House as Candace Cameron Bure’s boyfriend from 1987 to 1995, and also appeared in the reboot Fuller House in 2016.

He took to Twitter to pay tribute to the beloved comedian on Monday and shared he would be donating to an organization close to Bob’s heart.

‘Bob Saget was more than a friend. He was a big brother to me. Nobody ever made me laugh harder, the kind of laughter where your ribs are sore the next day. He was also a wonderful human being who never missed a chance to say ‘I love you’ to the people he cared about.’

‘Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family. And now we grieve as a family. Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob.

‘He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob’s honor, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob.’

It was signed off by John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Andrea Barber, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Bure, Weinger and the show’s Creator/Executive Producer Jeff Franklin.

A 9-1-1 call obtained by the New York Post on Monday detailed that Saget was found lying in his hotel bed ‘unresponsive, not breathing and no pulse.’

Hotel staff made the discovery one hour after he was supposed to have checked out of his room, and told cops he was ‘cold to the touch, yellow and clammy.’

TMZ was the first to report the death, with The Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirming the news.

The department said ‘detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. The Medical Examiner’s Office will make the final call on the cause and manner of death.’
