Wizkid Unveils Tracklist For New Album, ‘More Love, Less Ego,’ Confirms Release Date

Multiple award-winning Nigerian music sensation, Wizkid, has released the official tracklist for his hotly awaited studio album, titled ‘More Love, Less Ego.’

The superstar also confirmed the collection would be released on November 11, 2022, the third time Wizkid has deferred the album’s release date. He had initially scheduled it for August 5. Later, at his sold-out show at the Accor Arena in Paris, France’s capital, he announced October 29 to his fans.

Wizkid has a history of moving back his music projects. The ‘Essence’ crooner, a perfectionist, stated in an interview that he likes his songs flawless before releasing them for public consumption. Even though he said that the ‘More Love, Less Ego’ studio album would be released globally on November 11, his supporters can only hope he will stick to this new date.

The ‘More Love, Less Ego’ album houses 13 tracks, including his recent hits, ‘Bad To Me’ and ‘Money & Love,’ which are making waves on various music charts in Nigeria and abroad.

Wizkid handpicked his guest artistes to complement the theme of the album. He featured Ayra Starr on ‘2 Sugar,’ Skillibeng and Sheen Sea on ‘Slip N Slide,’ Naira Marley and Skepta on ‘Wow,’ and American rapper Don Toliver on ‘Special.’

Wizkid has released four studio albums, ‘Superstar’ (2011), ‘Ayo’ (2014), ‘Sounds From The Other Side’ (2017), and ‘Made In Lagos’ (2020), in addition to other musical endeavours that established his global eminence.

Wizkid’s fourth studio album, ‘Made In Lagos,’ was recently nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2022.
