Yoruba actress, Bose Akinola emerges Oyo TAMPAN Governor

Actress Bose Akinola has emerged as the governor of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) in Oyo State.

Fellow actress Rukayat Lawal, known as Iya Ibadan, shared the good news in an Instagram post.

Announcing her friend’s victory, Iya Ibadan who posted a video from the election, wrote:

“BOSE TI WA OK, OYO STATE TAMPAN GOVERNOR 2022.”

In another post , she wrote:

“If God be for us, who can be against us. Oluwaseun.”

Bose Akinola emerged the new governor of TAMPAN for a term of four years, after securing 113 votes.
She would be taking over from her colleague, Rose Odika, who was in power for 8years.

Fellow celebrities including Femi Adebayo, Bimpe Akintunde and Madam Saje congratulated Bose Akinola in the comment section of the post.

Bose is a two-time Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) nominee.

The Oyo-based actress has produced movies such as Loogun Ofe, Idajo Owo, Anike Kolope and Feranmi.

She is married with four children.
