Nigerian singers have been doing enormously well in the entertainment industry home and abroad, most especially in the music industry.
Two popular Nigerian music stars, Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid and Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems have won different awards at the American Music Awards.
While Wizkid made history by becoming the first artiste to win the Favourite Afrobeats Artiste category, Tems won with her collaboration with Wizkid on Essence which took the Favourite R&B Song category at the event.
The 50th edition of the event held on Sunday, November 20 at Microsoft Theater, California.
