Actress Rita Dominic has revealed how a ban on transit flights by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) almost ruined her white wedding.
The iconic Nigerian movie star and her sweetheart, Fidelis Anosike got married in North Yorkshire, England, on Saturday, 26th of November.
In a recent gratitude post on Instagram, the 47-year-old thespian explained how the UAE ban nearly ruined the wedding but her designer, Michael Nardi, came to the rescue by going the extra mile to make the event a conquest. She wrote:
“Thank God for a beautiful weekend full of love and joy. Thank you to @micheal5inco for making my dream wedding gown. It was a lot of hard work and patience since we were in two different countries.
“The UAE ban almost ruined it all but designer @micheal_nardi_ who you see in this video came to the rescue by going above and beyond to make the necessary alterations and final fittings. So huge hugs to both.”
Rita Dominic further thanked those who had also pitched in to make the wedding a success. She added:
“Thank you to my dream team who worked hard to get me looking good in this gown. Love you all from the bottom of my heart.”
Rita Dominic had earlier shared highlights of the wedding ceremony on her social media account, an event which was attended by her colleagues like Kate Henshaw, Toke Makinwa, Blessing Egbe, Michelle Dede, Mo Abudu, Mildred Okwo, and several other Nigerian celebrities.
