Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has thanked her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi as her new movie Ijakumo hits N65 million in the cinema just 5 days after its release.

Toyin Abraham shared the good news about the movie in an Instagram post on Wednesday, December 28, revealing that it was the second biggest indigenous language film of 2022.

Thanking her fans and followers, she wrote:

“For a movie rated 18 in a festive period, I work so hard joor

Thank you so much Nigerians, thanks Toyintitans 

IJAKUMO is showing in all cinemas in Nigeria.”

The mother of one also took to the social media platform to appreciate her husband for his support, while also professing her love for him.

Shating a photo of them together wearing a tee shirt inscribed with ‘Ijakumo’, she wrote:

“Emi ati Oko mi atata @kolawoleajeyemi Thanks for standing by me and supporting me every time and always. Mo love e paa.”

With the help of Sharon, a stripper and choir leader who Jide lusts after, Ashabi figures out a way to achieve her revenge plan.

Toyin Abraham appears in the movie along with Kunle Remi, Bimbo Akintola, Lilian Afegabi, Eso Dike, Tomiwa Tegbe, Kola Ajeyemi, Antar Laniyan, Okusanya Lolade, and others.

Over the years, Toyin has appeared in and directed numerous movies including Prophetess, The Ghost and the Tout and Fate of Alakada.

Her The Ghost and The Tout Too was one of the highest-grossing films of 2021, earning over N130million in cinemas.
