It appears that his wife, Peggy Ovire-Leonard had not brought a mannequin on a getaway so he offered himself to be used for straightening the wig.

“Yes na! This is what marriage is, use me, I use you. So, my wife today is using me as her mannequin. Cos we are on our way, on a short getaway.

“So, we’re not home, we’re somewhere really special and nice. And she didn’t come with her mannequin. She couldn’t have even come with it. So, I’m standing in as the mannequin. Na so e be o!”

Enlightening unmarried men about marriage, Freddie stated stuff like what he was doing and other sacrifices were needed to make their wives happy and by extension have a beautiful-cum-successful marriage.

“So, if you are thinking of getting married. It’s not a joke. You have to present yourself, you know….a sacrifice. This is part of it, to make the wife happy…you know. The earlier I do this, the better.”
