Burna Boy, Tems, Asake to perform at US’s biggest music festival

Nigerian music stars, Burna Boy, Tems and Asake are set to perform at the world’s biggest music festival, Coachella.

This was made known in the 2023 Coachella Music & Art Festival graphic released by the organisers, Golden Voice.

The festival is slated to hold from April 14th to 16th, and April 21st to 23rd.

Coachella, which has previously featured African artists on their stage, gained more popularity in Nigeria in 2019 after Burna Boy caused a stir when his name was announced on the lineup but was written in small fonts.

According to a roster that has surfaced on the internet, the event will feature performances by Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Tems, and Asake, as well as Ghanaian music phenomenon Black Sherif, all of whom have mind-blowing 2022.

The roster of artists that will headline the festival’s three days of musical performances also included headliners – Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny, and Frank Ocean.
