“I was star-struck” – Charly Boy ecstatic as he runs into Davido on Election Day

Popular Nigerian entertainer and political activist Charley Boy, recently met with Afrobeats Superstar, Davido, in Lagos state, today, February 25th (Election day).

The 72-year-old veteran artist and host of “The Charly Boy Show” was left star-struck by the meeting and couldn’t help but share his excitement on social media.

Taking to his Instagram page, he posted photos of himself with OBO Crooner as they posed for selfies.

In the pictures, Charly Boy could be seen smiling broadly, visibly ecstatic about meeting one of his favourite artists.

Charly Boy expressed his admiration for Davido, calling him one of Nigeria’s pride. He also disclosed that the encounter occurred while he was riding his scooter on Boudillon Street, Ikoyi.

Meeting one of my favorite Artiste OBO, as I dey scooter on Boudillon today.

I was star struck he even helped me take dis picture on my phone.
Na so my hand dey shake say I see Davido.

This is coming hours after Charly Boy complained about his name missing from his polling unit voter register.

He made this known via a video he posted on his Instagram page on Saturday.

He said, “Upon say I no sleep throughout last night. What a very sad day for me. Upon all the work and effort put into ushering in a New Nigeria, my name no even dey list. My polling centre na 013 on Gerald Road, Ikoyi but my name no dey list till I met someoone else with the same problem. Somebody please talk to me”

A woman who also spoke on the video said she had been to four different polling units but hadn’t found her name.
