Why going to court is an absolute waste of time – Kenneth Okonkwo blows hot

Nigerian actor, lawyer cum politician, Kenneth Okonkwo has blown hot over reasons why he believes going to court to challenge the presidential election results is ‘an absolute waste of time’.

It’s not news that many Nigerians have claimed that some of the presidential election results announced by INEC have been rigged. Some party chairmen have been tasked to go to court to challenge it, if they are unsatisfied with the results.

The spokesperson for Labour Party (LP) took to his Twitter page moments ago stating that if a Muslim-Muslim ticket can be imposed on Nigerians with Muslims taking top seats at the senate, and other high places, going to court won’t yield a positive outcome. Kenneth Okonkwo wrote:

“Any Nigerian who thinks he will get justice in a court against a Muslim-Muslim ticket forcefully foisted on Nigerians in a country where the President is a Muslim, Vice President is a Muslim, Senate President a Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives a Muslim, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives a Muslim, National Chairman of the Party a Muslim and the Chief Justice of Nigeria a Muslim is ignorant of the Machina treatment.

This is a government that cannot give poor Muslims like Bashir Machina justice and then some ignorant Christians will think they will receive justice from such a government.

It’s either we want a country built on equity, justice and fairness or we don’t. A new Nigeria is POssible and must come based on equity, justice and fairness. We moovee!!!.”
