I came back from the jaws of death – Charly Boy recounts struggle with cancer [VIDEO]

Nigerian singer cum media personality, Charles Oputa better known as Charly Boy has shared his struggle and survival journey with cancer.

The singer cum activist, in a post on his Instagram page, recounted how he survived prostate cancer.

While sharing a video of him being wheeled out of the theatre, Charly Boy disclosed that he had been battling the ailment for over 10 days.

According to him, being a survivor is the greatest favor God has done for him.

Charly Boy appreciated God for sparing his life and his family for their support as well as thanked the Nigerian doctor who performed his surgery. He wrote:

“Gosh,
I have fought one too many battles in my short life.
Most of the time, I win.
Prostate cancer cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot conquer his spirit.

Abegi makes una help me thank God for giving me yet another chance”.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls Nigerian singer, Chukwudi Ken Agali better known as Chuddy K lost his wife, Racheal to cancer.

The ‘Gaga Crazy’ hitmaker disclosed the sad news on his Instagram page in January.

Sharing a photo of his wife, Chuddy K, who is still in disbelief over her death, noted how she fought hard to live. He, however stated that he chose not to believe that his wife died of cancer but that God called her.

Describing her as his queen, he bade her farewell. He captioned:

“My queen is gone. I can’t believe am typing this. Never imagined a day like this would come so early. You fought hard for your life. You did not die of cancer.
God called you cus he loves you more than I do. RIP
Racheal my love.”
