Chef Dammy reacts to Guinness world record’s comment on her 120-hr cook-a-thon

Nigerian Chef, Dammy, has reacted after Guinness World Record revealed why they were silent on her 120-hr cook-a-thon attempt.

WITHIN NIGERIA earlier reported that the record body, via a news outfit, said Dammy did not submit an application before attempting to break her compatriot, Hilda Baci’s cooking record.

Reacting, the Ekiti Chef, via her official Facebook page, admitted that her 120-hr cook-a-thon was to test her capability and not for smashing any record. She expressed excitement for not giving up.

Her words;

“I stated this earlier that I embarked on this journey to test my capability not for any GWR..

l am happy that I cooked for 120 hours. I am proud that I never gave up”

Dammy began to make headlines after announcing the start of her cook-a-thon in Ekiti state.

Despite being slammed heavily by Nigerians for copying Hilda Baci’s idea, the chef persevered until she finished the task.

Chef Hilda Baci also endorsed Chef Dammy’s cook-a-thon via her Twitter handle.

Guinness World Record did not comment on Chef Dammy’s attempt throughout the duration of her cooking.
