In a recent viral video on social media, Samklef, a renowned music producer also known as Samuel Oguachuba, expressed his belief that infidelity is a natural tendency among individuals, as it is part of human nature as designed by God.
This statement was made during a conversation with the popular media personality Daddy Freeze, coinciding with the alleged cheating scandal involving singer Banky W.
Samklef argued that Nigerians tend to become excessively emotional when discussing the topic of infidelity, emphasizing that cheating is a common occurrence.
To support his viewpoint, he cited examples of religious figures he personally knows who have engaged in extramarital affairs. Furthermore, he referenced biblical figures such as Abraham, David, and Solomon, who were polygamous, to substantiate his claim.
He also quoted a verse, Songs of Solomon, chap 1 vs 1 to back his statement.
In his words:
“Nigerians are too emotional. We react with emotions. We dey do bad things, but we dey cover am. “Nigerians should stop idolizing some people’s lives. Let people be. Pastors, Imams… Who doesn’t cheat? Na God create us to cheat.”
