Yoruba movie veteran, Pariolodo, has publicly criticized Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin president of the Theater Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), over his refusal to assist him in his time of need.
WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that Pariolodo in a viral video opened up about the difficulties he is facing, which include an incomplete residence and the necessity of a reliable means of transportation.
The actor asked Nigerians for help and Popular Nigerian Clergyman, Pastor Gabriel Agbala, who helped actress Iya Gbonkan to secure her car and complete her residence, paid him a visit. They went on a live video and kind-hearted Nigerians worldwide donated N6million for him.
In new video making the rounds, Pariolodo expressed his disappointment and frustration towards Mr Latin for neglecting him.
He reminded Mr Latin that he had been in the industry long before him, reteirated that he started his acting journey in 1976, while Mr Latin was still in secondary school. The Actor asserted that they are not mate, age and career wise.
He averred in parts;
“Mr Latin you were in secondary school when I ventured into Nollywood, I’m not your mate.. I started acting in 1976″
Pariolodo claimed that despite his long-standing contribution to the Nigerian film industry, he had not received the support he expected from someone in a position of influence like Mr Latin.
He further berated Mr Latin for insisting on not helping him because he is not a member of TAMPAN. Pariolodo recalled how Mr Latin allegedly abandoned Baba Ijesha because of his principles.
The Thespian mentioned colleagues, Olaiya Igwe, Adekola Tijani, Sanyeri others, who had visited and called him via the phone to congratulate him on his new car and house completion, however, noted that Mr Latin hasn’t reached out to him yet.
