The Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company, Elohor Aiboni, has stated that the impressive performance of beneficiaries of the National Cradle-to-Career programme of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and SNEPCo has justified investment made in the scheme.
He said of the 103 students who sat for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations this year, beneficiaries of the programme recorded 100 per cent and 98 per cent pass rates in Mathematics and English language respectively.
The firm, in a release, disclosed that Salmanu Isa Musa from Premiere Academy, Abuja and Orevaoghene Whiskey from TopFaith International Secondary School in Akwa Ibom State recorded nine distinctions.
It added that Golit Golu also from Premiere Academy and Adedokun Nihinlolawa from Lead Forte Gate College, Lagos, had eight distinctions.
