Big Brother Naija All Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, has opened up on why she was always talking to cowries while inside BBNaija house.

She claimed that she carries and communicates with the cowries in honor of her deceased brother.

The reality TV star revealed this while participating in Pulse’s One On One, which was hosted by fellow BBNaija star, Christy O.

The host asked:

There is a claim online where CeeC was saying that you had cowries that you were talking to. Can you tell me more about it?”

Ilebaye replied: “I had something precious to me. Because obviously, you are supposed to have something precious when you’re doing something that you miss at home.

“And the cowries were for my late brother. It has been with me and even the baton. I have a baton on him too. I didn’t know where to keep it. I was just like, Oh! Let me hold something strong.

“It just helps me feel like he [my late brother] is around. He is still with me”

She expressed how disappointed she was when she came out and heard what CeeC said about her speaking to the cowries while in the house.

In another story,  BBNaija Ilebaye was seen beaming with joy as she prepares to accompany Super Eagles players to AFCON 

The Reality TV sensation, in a fresh video sighted on her page, had a thrilling moment as she unveiled the enticing invite package dispatched by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), packed to the brim with Super Eagles goodies.

Ilebaye, with her unwavering passion for the sport, stressed that football is a universal language that transcends borders. She recalled a vivid memory from her childhood when she was just 12 years old, the last time the Super Eagles clinched the AFCON trophy

She fondly remembered the jubilation that echoed through her family’s home, with her dad regaling her with stories of Okocha, Kanu, and other legends, passing down a living legacy of their football greatness.

Ilebaye also expressed her unwavering belief that the Super Eagles have what it takes to clinch victory in the AFCON 2023 tournament.
