- A couple of weeks post K1 De Ultimate’s show-stopping act at his mother’s funeral reception, WizKid rolled up to the Fuji maestro’s crib in Ogun State.
- In a circulating video, KWAM 1 threw open the doors, extending a warm welcome to the Afrobeats sensation, lavishing praise on him and acknowledging his stellar influence in the industry
Nigeria’s music sensation, WizKid, and his squad caused a stir on the web with their visit to the Ijebu Ode home of the Fuji maestro and M.O.N. Mayegun of Yorubaland, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal.
Recall how WizKid, back in October, hosted a burial bash that became the talk of the town in honor of his late mother, Mrs. Juliana Morayo Balogun. The event drew in a slew of dignitaries, including kings, billionaires, and celebs like KWAM 1, who serenaded Big Wiz’s guests with his evergreen tunes.
In what seems like a gratitude-filled visit, a video spotted on KWAM 1’s Instagram showcased WizKid and his crew standing outside, exchanging warm pleasantries with the Fuji maestro and his folks before making their way inside his home.
In a follow-up clip, KWAM 1, Big Wiz, and his crew were comfortably seated in the Fuji singer’s residence. The maestro showered accolades on the singer, hailing him as a fine gentleman with a wonderful family, all of whom are immensely proud of him.
KWAM 1 laid it down, proclaiming Big Wiz as the people’s voice, spicing it up with the deets about him schooling in Ijebu Ode. He encouraged him to leverage his musical influence to make a positive impact on the youth and society.
