Fans of the late Nigerian rapper, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips have doubted his death, grappling unto a recent post as a beacon of hope.

This is coming after the management of the late rapper released an album he was working on before he died. The album titled Superhero Adugbo’s release was announced in an Instagram post on Thursday with photos of the deceased as the album cover. The post read:

“#SuperheroAdugbo Album out now.”

The album contains 17 tracks including a collaboration with music artiste, Trod.

Recall Oladips died on Tuesday night, November 14, 2023. His management announced his shocking demise in a brief statement shared on the rapper’s Instagram post on Wednesday.

Many have however refused to believe the sad news, hoping the rapper is only trying to prank his fans in order to make sure his album goes viral.

Still on Oladips, many mourned the death of the rapper with Nnamdi Nwabasili aka N6’s comment standing out.

While N6 mourned his colleague’s passing, he criticized those who accused Oladips of chasing clout with a post he made some hours before his death.

Hours before his death, Oladips had taken to his Instagram stories to cry out for help. In the post, he mentioned one of his friends, @onlyonelifetime, and asked where he was. The rapper complained about how he had tried to reach the friend on the phone several times and how they knew he didn’t like to be left alone in the house, especially with his condition.

This post by the rapper generated a lot of backlash with many claiming he was only trying to gain publicity. Hours after his death was reported, thousands have flooded his Instagram page to mourn him.

This act made N6 state that it’s no wonder people hardly come out to state their struggles.
