  • His management dropped the bombshell of his demise on a gloomy Wednesday via his Instagram handle, plunging fans into a pit of shock

Nigerian music sensation, Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, known as Q-Dot, has left fans in awe with his latest revelation—declaring that his colleague Oladips, who was earlier reported to have passed away hours ago, is not dead.

Hours before he was proclaimed dead, Oladips caused a stir online as fans worried about his safety over a viral video that showed the moment he collapsed.

In a statement released on his Instagram page on Wednesday, November 15, Oladips’ management announced he died on Tuesday, November 14, adding that he had been battling within himself for over two years.

In a startling turn of events, Qdot took to his Instagram on Thursday evening to declare, much to everyone’s surprise, that his friend is still very much among the living.

Confirming he is alive, Oladips’ close associate, Sir coolest, provided an update to fans, mischievously suggesting an apology video might surface from Oladips if his latest album dominates the Apple Music charts.

Sir Coolest wrote;

He just finished eating turkey and rice He don dey set ring light If the Album don enter No 1 by evening. probably tomorrow he’ll post the apology video”

This is coming hours after Actress Bukunmi Oluwasina has penned down a heartbreaking tribute to her friend rapper Oladips.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Bukunmi shared the poster of Oladip’s latest album and a video of the duo.

In her tribute, she wrote: “Hey soldier, Are you there? I saw you last night but it wasn’t in a box. So, why are people asking me “Are you dead?” “If I drop this album I have been struggling to make, people won’t listen.” Are you scared?? I have said this before, “You don’t put people in charge of your happiness, and expect not to be robbed.” Were you deaf?
