Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has taken a bold stance against the recent death stunt pulled by rapper Oladips, denouncing the act as an unacceptable and manipulative ploy to gain attention for his new album.

Portable did not mince words as he criticized Oladips for resorting to such an extreme measure, asserting that he would never use his own life as a tool for publicity.

The Zeh Nation executive highlighted that he is content with his life and would not play with the emotions of the masses in the name of promoting his work.

The controversy erupted when news broke on November 16, 2023, revealing that Oladips’ reported death was nothing more than a staged event to generate buzz for his latest musical project.

In related story, Nigerians are in total shock as friends and colleagues of the late rapper, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, claim he is alive.

Hours before his death, Oladips had taken to his Instagram stories to cry out for help. In the post, he mentioned one of his friends, @onlyonelifetime, and asked where he was. The rapper complained about how he had tried to reach the friend on the phone several times and how they knew he didn’t like to be left alone in the house, especially with his condition.

His management revealed his death on Tuesday, November 14, in a message posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday, November 15. They also revealed that Oladips had been fighting demons within himself for almost two years.
