On the occasion of P-Square’s 42nd birthday today, former Governor of Anambra State, and labour party presidential candidate in the last election, Peter Obi, took a moment to acknowledge the tremendous impact that the music duo has had on Nigerians throughout their illustrious career.

Recall that during the presidential election, Peter and his brother Paul were ardent supporters of Peter Obi and the Labour Party?

In a tweet on his official X account on Saturday, Peter Obi stated that the musicians’ songs have had a noticeable influence on Nigeria and other countries.

He also praised P-square for joining other young Nigerians in calling for a New Nigeria in the general elections that was held in February and March.

He wrote:

The Afrobeats Superstar, who is one of the celebrity supporters of Peter Obi, shared a picture of the Labour Party politician, reteirated that his mandate cannot be denied but can only be delayed.

He wrote;

PETER OBI your mandate can only be delayed, but cannot be denied. Thank you Nigerians.”
