- Yul Edochie has called Nigerians out on their double standards when it pertains to the living and dead.

- Yul wondered why people are quick to celebrate dead people over the living.
Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie has chastised Nigerians over the way they tend to celebrate the dead over the living.
Noting the lack of interest in Oladips and his music, now that he’s proven to be alive, Yul Edochie asked what they don’t want him to trend.
The Thespian further claimed that if the singer was truly dead, they would not let social media rest and would be posting his photo and music repeatedly but won’t keep the same energy now that he’s alive.
The controversial actor and movie star went online to ask about what has become of the singer who faked his death in a PR stunt.
Yul maintained that people tend to show more love to people when they’re dead than when they’re alive. In his words:
“What’s up with the guy who faked his death? Una no wan trend am?
Nobody is posting him? Nobody is posting his music cos he’s still alive. lf he was truly dead by now, una no go let people rest.
Everybody will be posting his picture & his music.
To support dead people dey sweet una pass the ones wey dey alive. Support him now that he’s alive, jealousy and envy no go let una.”

Oladips can be seen with his head bald, after having a clean shave as opposed to his usual neck-length dread hair and a woman can also be spotted in the background of the video giving thanks.
