Toke Makinwa threatens to sue Danny Walter over statement

  • Toke Makinwa has hit back at Danny Walter over a recent allegation he made concerning her.
  • The influencer was talking about bad governance, stating that Nigerian politicians who steal money sponsored her trip to Dubai.
  • In response, Toke asked Danny to be ready to defend his statement with proof in 2024 and he urged her to bring it on.

Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has threatened to take legal steps against crypto investor cum influencer, Danny Walter over his recent claim about her trip to Dubai.

He said that Nigerian politicians who stole the countries money carried her to the United Arab Emirates for the Climate Change event tagged COP28.

It all started with the argument between Danny and other X (formerly Twitter) users about whether Nigeria would’ve done better if it was still under colonial rule.

A netizen, @Hardey0405 wrote;

“Justifying colonialism is crazzy. Mind you, they stole from us and controlling us”

In response, Danny tweeted;

“The people in power are not stealing from you? At least white people will steal and build something in return, our own people will steal, carry Toke Makinwa to Dubai and build nothing”.

Reacting, Toke hinted that she may take the matter to court next year and asked i the influencer has proof to back up his claim. She wrote;

“Very Wild. I hope you have enough proof to defend this tweet of yours cos it’ll be a very interesting 2024.”

Danny Walter then dared the TV presenter to follow through with her lawsuit that he was ready for her.

“Proof of what? Was your name not on the list or you didn’t go to Dubai? I’ll be waiting for 2024 dear bring it on.”

Moving on, popular Nigerian film actor, Jim Iyke has spoken about a viral ‘who’s that’ statement he made weeks back, during an interview.

Recall that during the said interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa had inquired about his relationship with his ex, Ghanian actress, Nadia Buhari and he had replied with “Who’s that”, which many found offensive.

Now speaking about it in another interview, Jim Iyke noted how he and Nadia, have both moved on from their past and are now in different relationships.

According to him, he found it offensive to Nadia Buari’s husband and his current girlfriend to talk about what they had happened years back. He added that Toke had asked him an explicit question, wanting to know if they had sex when they were together, which is why he didn’t answer.
