A video clip featuring four young American men performing a country cover of the Nigerian Afrobeat song “Chop My Money” by PSquare has gained widespread attention online.

The viral video has sparked various reactions, with many commending the PSquare brothers for creating a timeless classic that still resonates twelve years after its release.

In the clip, the four men fluently sing in pidgin, skillfully echoing every beat and sound from the original song.

The video was shared on social media by popular Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut.

Reacting to the clip, one of the PSquare brothers, Paul Okoye (King Rudy or Rudeboy), expressed pride in seeing their creation endure over a decade later.

Additionally, Mr. May D, who was formerly signed to Square Records and featured on the song, commented on the clip. He humorously noted that the Americans singing the song sounded as if they were hungry.
