Popular Nigerian fashion blogger, Laura Ikeji, has raised eyebrows with her recent social media post directed at the producers of the hit reality show “Real Housewives of Lagos” (RHOL).
Laura Ikeji expressed her disappointment over the selection of men for the show and called for a revamp in casting choices.
The outspoken influencer suggested that if a gay man were to be included in the female-led series, the producers should consider bringing in someone truly extraordinary.
She called Dr. Rommel, who is well-known for being homos3xual and transg3nder, a waste of time on the show and an embarrassment to the LGBTQ community.
This comes after allegations of dishonesty against Dr. Rommel on the show, specifically in confrontations with Morey Faith, another cast member, have been made. Viewers have also accused Dr. Rommel of inciting rivalries among the cast members.
“Next time u gonna bring a gay man to join a show with ladies, pls bring those amazing ones. The Igbta community has so many pure souls.
Rommel is a waste of screen time n an embarrassment to that community” She wrote.
This comes after the recent altercation Laura Ikeji had with actress Iyabo Ojo, which she brought to public almost a week ago.
Laura chastised Iyabo Ojo for constantly irritating her and trying to intimidate her. She deleted all of her previous apologies and disclosed a history of altercations, saying that she now had no regard for Iyabo Ojo.
In reaction, Iyabo Ojo tackles Laura Ikeji for calling her a bully, even dragged Linda into the mess.
According to her, Laura is playing the victim even after threatening to slap another housewife in season 1.
