Peruzzi, the Nigerian singer, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, commonly referred to as Peruzzi, recounted an eyebrow-raising incident where an individual discreetly tucked a fetish item into his jacket during his stay at the Lagos residence of his record label honcho, Davido.
In a recent interview, Peruzzi recounted the unusual experience. After a leisurely shower at Davido’s house, he attempted to don a recently laundered jacket and discovered a charm had fallen from the clothes.
Despite initially planning to wear a shirt and trousers, an inexplicable intuition guided him to choose the jacket. Upon putting on the clothes, he witnessed the peculiar occurrence firsthand.
According to him, the item was meant to harm him but lost its potency because his “head is strong”.
Speaking in the latest episode of the Zero Conditions podcast, Peruzzi recounted: “While I was staying at Davido’s house, one evening I took a shower and then went to the wardrobe to dress, I wore my shirt and pants. And then one jacket was just telling me, ‘Wear me, wear me.’
“I don’t know how to explain this but I carried the jacket and while I was trying to wear it, something fell and I looked I saw jazz tied and everything. Juju, better juju in my room in a jacket that just came from the laundry. Na say my head strong na e make I see am.”
Peruzzi said he moved out of Davido’s house when his partner, Chioma got pregnant with their late son, Ifeanyi.
He averred that he didn’t inform Davido before leaving, added that only the OBO crooner’s late associate, Obama DMW, aka 44, knew about it.
