Basketmouth reveals plans to bring 2Baba back to Nollywood

Renowned Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth, divulges his exciting plans to bring the iconic music sensation, 2Baba, back to the big screens of Nollywood.

In a recent post on social media, Basketmouth praised 2Baba’s performance in the most recent episode of his skits, ‘The Secret Of Lulu’, and advised him to pursue a full acting career with his Tiv ascent.

Basketmouth is determined to make this dream collaboration a reality, he stated that he is already developing a project for 2Baba’s comic persona in the skit.

On his Instagram page, Basketmouth wrote;

“My brother @official2baba we should create something beautiful from this character you played here, I think it’s going to be a masterpiece. My brain don dey cook something already. Think about it blood.”

2Baba has previously appeared in some Nollywood movies, including ‘Head Gone,’ ‘Make A Move,’ and a cameo in ’10 Days In Sun City.’

Recall that earlier this year, Basketmouth revealed that he used his movie ‘Brotherhood’ to test his acting skills .

The comedian, known for his stand-up comedy discussed how he found inspiration in the movie and had used it as a way to test and develop his own acting abilities.

He stated that, while he is not entirely committed to acting, he will consider returning to the screen if he receives another script with a good character.

Speaking in his most recent online interview, basketmouth stated that 2024 will be a memorable year due to the interesting projects he has planned to work on.

“I featured in Brotherhood because I was curious to see if I could pull it off, and I want to believe I did. I just might take a shot at acting again when I get a good script with a daring character.

I have some exciting projects coming up. My team and I have been working tirelessly for a couple of years now preparing for 2024.

“I have been a comedian for 25 years now, and I believe it is time to explore new opportunities in movies and music,” he said.
