Nigerian actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo, boldly asserted that his colleague Dayo Amusa will never find peace of mind if she continues to harbor resentment towards his success.

In a fiery Instagram post on Tuesday,  the 45-year-old , stood his ground against criticism from his colleague Dayo Amusa.

Recall that Amusa had publicly criticized Adebayo for his choice to declare crossdresser Bobrisky as the best-dressed female at Eniola Ajao’s “Beast of Two Worlds” premiere.

The announcement triggered a flurry of reactions on social media, with numerous celebrities, including Dayo Amusa, voicing their disapproval of the judges’ decision to include Bobrisky in the female category

Amusa went as far as stating that declaring Bobrisky as the best-dressed female was a blatant disrespect to women.

Amid escalating criticism directed at Femi Adebayo for his announcement, his wife Omotayo Aduke took to Instagram on Tuesday to release a statement. In it, she tackled those attacking her husband, reteirated that Femi was merely tasked with announcing the winner and shouldn’t be held accountable for the decision.

Just an hour later, Dayo Amusa took to her Instagram account to craft a response to Aduke’s statement, she wrote;

“It’s cool to want to defend your own ALADUKE! I respect you for that but throwing banta only shows how shallow-minded you are…He has to own up to it, take responsibility for his actions and do the needful. No one is an enemy in disguise. Hypocrisy doesn’t exist here. I said all I said and I stand firmly on it. DON’T PUSH THIS TOO FAR.”

Firing back with unfiltered intensity in the comment section, Femi Adebayo didn’t sugarcoat his response to Dayo Amusa.

He delivered a pointed message to Dayo Amusa, urged her to redirect her focus towards her career. He asserted that she wouldn’t find peace of mind if his success continued to bother her.

He wrote:

“I now see that you truly want to come for me! You have actually done it with the wrongest person @dayoamusa if my success is your problem you can never have rest of mind because I have just started! It’s advisable you channel your energy to your career and not be too busy on bringing me down!!!”
