American pop star Taylor Swift has secured her place among the world’s wealthiest individuals in 2024, according to Forbes magazine.

The renowned singer made her debut on the Forbes World’s Billionaires List, boasting an impressive fortune of $1.1 billion.

In a feature published on Tuesday, Forbes revealed that the list was compiled using stock prices and exchange rates.

At the age of 34, Taylor Swift’s wealth stems from various sources, including her blockbuster Eras Tour, the value of her music catalogue, and her real estate portfolio.

What sets Swift apart is her distinction as the first musician to achieve a ten-figure status solely based on her songs and performances.

Swift’s journey began early, as she delved into professional songwriting at the tender age of 14.

While accepting the award for ‘Video of the year’ for her song,’ All Too Well (10-minute version),’ the 32-year-old disclosed her 10th studio album would be released on October 21, 2022.

“You guys, I’m just so proud of what we made, and I know that every second of this moment that we wouldn’t have been able to make this short film if it weren’t for you, the fans.”
