Nigerian film actress , Mide Martins could not hold back her excitement as she carried her movie producer husband, Afeez Owo for surprising her with a gift on her birthday.

Mide who clocked a new age on Friday, April 12, got a surprise treat from her husband who gave her a cheque that got her screaming.

In a video shared on her Instagram account, a happy Mide could be seen jumping in excitement over the birthday surprise, she also lifted her husband who was all smiles over her display and tossed him in the air.

The mother of two then went on her knees to thank him and her husband lifted her up.

The duo often joke about Mide’s love for money.

Mide Martins earlier shared several photos of herself on Instagram to celebrate her new age.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME… ????HURRAYYYYYY!!! ????…..I AM PLUS ONE TODAY. THANK YOU LORD YOUR GRACE IS SUFFICIENT!” She captioned the pictures.

The couple reconciled in 2019 after their marriage was rocked by allegations of infidelity.

They renewed their wedding vows in April 2020.

They celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary in 2022.

They have two daughters, Faridat and Kabirat.
