I’m not responsible for D’banj, Don Jazzy’s reconciliation – Mr Macaroni

  • Mr Macaroni has spoken on the rekindled friendship between former business partners D’banj and Don Jazzy.
  • The duo came together to celebrate the Koko Master’s 20 years on stage and shared photos.
  • Reacting, Mr Macaroni who clocked a new age today revealed that while he isn’t responsible for their reconciliation, he is glad about it.

Comedian Mr Macaroni has said that he is not responsible for the peace between singer D’banj and music executive Don Jazzy.

The skit maker said this in a post on his X account on Friday, in which he commended the musicians for settling their differences.

Mr Macaroni shared a March 13 tweet in which he said:

“I Have This Feeling, A Very Strong Feeling; That I Will Reconcile D’banj And Donjazzy.”

However, in a retweet on Friday, the funny man, also known as Daddy Wa, said that although he cannot take credit for their reconciliation, he is glad that the duo has finally made peace. Mr Macaroni who got a birthday surprise from the former business partners wrote:

“Well, I didn’t do any reconciliation because they have been cool. But I’m so glad I can come back to this tweet and smile because Jah knows I have always loved these two with all my heart!!!!”

Mr Macaroni also promoted D’banj’s new single ‘Since 04’ as he celebrated his birthday.

Don Jazzy and D’banj joined forces to establish the now-defunct Mo’ Hits Records in 2006. The label housed signed artistes like Wande Coal, Dr SID, D’Prince, and K-Switch.

But in March 2012, Don Jazzy announced that D’banj had left the group.

Last week, D’banj tendered an apology to the former members of Mo’ Hits Records. The 43-year-old also revealed he will put out a track that “is dear to my heart” on Friday as part of his 20 years celebration as an entertainer.
