  • Budding Nollywood star, Mercy Kenneth’s bedroom scene with a man has spurred comments of disapproval from netizens.
  • The clip tried to depict the actress and the man making out; a scene that amassed criticism from social media users.

Fast-rising actress, Mercy Kenneth has caused a buzz online after attention was drawn to an intimate movie scene of her and a man.

In the video, Mercy Kenneth and the man tried to portray a scene of a virgin having coitus for the first time with a dude.

After the makeshift romp, the man promised Mercy Kenneth N100K and an iPhone in line with the movie.

However, netizens frowned over the clip with a majority arguing that Mercy Kenneth ought not to feature in such a scene. Some also dropped observations, stating that she frequently takes on roles involving sex in her movies.

One Hazel Cee wrote: “Why is she always playing these kind of roles? ,,always involving sex.”

Chimamanda Favour wrote:  “Why we she play this role at this age.”

Ina Joe wrote: “I know when they married her mother around 2001/2,this girl is too small for this kind movie, nollywood what are you teaching to our youth.”

Victoria Lawrence wrote: “Mercy is too young for this part I don’t know what you guys are teaching our teenagers out there.”

Jacky Opiyo wrote:  “In the past years I used to watch Nigerian movies seated with my parents freely, nowadays I’m always watching but with the remote control pushing forward scenes that my children shouldn’t watch. It’s hard to even draw moral lessons from a number of movies nowadays. Mercy is young for such scenes. I come in peace though.”

Emmanuel Ezibon wrote: “This days almost all western african movies is about shifting wombs and rampant sex. Are we going to raise a generation of sex for sex only while Asians and Europeans are invading African continent? How will some of us be watching such movies with our mothers, children and in-laws when almost all movies is full of sex scenes? So sarcastic and pathetic.”
