The DNA drama between Wunmi Aloba, the widow of the late singer Mohbad, and his father, Joseph Aloba, is heating up and shows no signs of cooling down anytime soon.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that Joseph Aloba made jaw-dropping allegations, asserted  that his son was murdered over a DNA issue.

According to Aloba, a DNA test could blow the lid off the dark secrets surrounding his son’s tragic death, and unravel a web of hidden truths that have yet to see the light of day.

In a stunning new twist to the ongoing family drama, Wunmi Aloba, mother of one and widow of the late singer Mohbad, has ramped up her battle by formally petitioning the Assistant Inspector General of Police at Zone 2 Command in Lagos state.

The petition, dated May 20, 2024, lays bare a series of grave allegations against her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, accusing him of making life-threatening remarks towards her and her young son.

Wunmi’s move is a bold escalation in the conflict, as she demands that Joseph Aloba issue a public apology immediately or face the consequences in court.

She has warned that she is prepared to unleash a legal storm, filing a lawsuit for a staggering N50 million in damages.

The petition further accuses Aloba of cyberstalking her on TikTok, a campaign of harassment that has only intensified the bitter feud.
