Nollywood star Osas Ighodaro has shared her concerns about the soaring cost of living in Nigeria, revealing that even N1 million can be quickly exhausted in just a day due to inflation.

In a recent interview with Pulse, she expressed her frustration with the rising expenses, stating that N1 million wouldn’t last her more than a day.

During the interview, the host asked: “How long will it take you to spend N1 million in this economy?”

Osas replied: “How many seconds? You said seconds? Things are expensive. Maybe a day depending on what I am getting.”

Osas Ighodaro also shared some lighthearted insights into her celebrity connections.

She revealed that Wande Coal is her go-to person for support on a bad day, and Toke Makinwa’s wardrobe is one she admires and would love to explore, praising Toke’s fashion sense.

In a recent interview on Arise TV, Osas Ighodaro revealed how her mother’s passing in 2020 caused a profound shift within her, making her to embrace her true self and live life to the fullest.

She confessed that she once struggled with self-doubt and people-pleasing, but her mother’s legacy inspired her to prioritize self-expression and self-love.

According to her, she realized that her mother’s selflessness and generosity had come at the cost of her own well-being, stating that she was determined not to follow in her footsteps.
