Gospel singer Peterson Okopi has got engaged to fashion designer Prudent Gabriel.
The visibly happy singer took to his Instagram page on Monday, July 1 to share pictures and videos of the engagement.
In the first post, Peterson Okopi shared pictures of himself with a beautifully lit sign behind him reading, “Will you marry me?”
He captioned the post, “IN THE BEGINNING ……….. Happy new month family.”
In another post, a video this time, Peterson is seen smiling as he reveals the engagement ring still in its box.
The video also shows him holding a flower, mouthing the sentence “She said yes,” and holding the hands of his fiancée.
The Osuba singer captioned this post, “A NEW DAWN. Watch out for the full proposal video on my YouTube channel by 4pm.”
His fiancée, Prudent also shared a post of herself on Instagram with the flowers while flaunting her engagement ring. She captioned the post, “I said YES To The One That God Purposed Specially For Me.”
In another post shared by Prudent on the photo-sharing app, she posted several pictures of herself and her fiancé, all ‘loved-up’ with smiles on their faces.
She captioned this post, “When God said WAIT, I didn’t understand until you showed up.”
The year 2024 appears it is a season of marriage for gospel singers.
Moses Bliss had his traditional wedding with his Ghanaian lover, Marie Wiseborn Agyare, on February 29.
Moses Bliss and Wiseborn duo held the final lap— their white wedding on March 2.
Minister Theophilus Sunday married his Jamaican lover Ashlee White on April 11.
Also, Neon Adejo wed his partner Lade Kehinde on April 29.
Peterson is signed to TWC Records based in Lagos.
