Nigerian musician and former political candidate Banky W, has announced his decision to further his education.

Following his defeat in the 2023 Nigerian general election, he has enrolled in a master’s degree program in policy at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

In a recent social media update, Banky W shared his transition from being a CEO to a student, highlighting the importance of prioritizing personal growth over impressive titles.

He expressed his commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement, stating:

Gave up being a CEO to become a student because sometimes you have to let go of what is impressive to gain what is important.

“I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Policy at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. The journey of faith continues. Please wish me well”.

Banky W took this step few months after surviving fourth skin cancer surgery.

He shared this news on Instagram on Thursday, 23rd May aiming to encourage others facing challenges.

He emphasized that he shared his testimony to inspire those battling their own challenges, reminding them that while obstacles might seem overwhelming, faith in God is greater than any adversity they may face.

Banky W also expressed his deep appreciation for his wife, family, friends, pastors, and doctors for their unwavering support, love, and prayers. Banky W also thanked God for his health and concluded with a message of victory and faith.
