In a heart-wrenching post, Lizzy revealed that Izuegbu was not only abducted but also shot in the leg before his eventual release on Thursday.

Her poignant message painted a grim picture of the escalating dangers in Asaba, underscoring that the once-peaceful city is no longer safe.

Asaba is no longer safe my friend @unasmovies a nollywood producer was kidnapped in asaba around DLA road two days ago and shot on the leg ….he was released yersterday and currently receiving treatment …Delta state govt @sheriffoborevwori needs to beef up security in asaba …

“The rate of kidnappers in the state is becoming alarming …his car and phones were taken from him pls swipe to see the car ..if you find it anywhere pls send me a dm..”
