The shirt held sentimental value as he had worn it on multiple dates while searching for a wife.
In a video posted online, Speed Darlington emotionally recounted how he had used the bleach on the shirt, only to be left with a damaged and ragged garment. He lamented the loss of his beloved shirt, showing it off to the camera to highlight the extent of the damage.
He also showed off his white singlets which turned brown after he used the same bleach to soak them.
