He acknowledged the difficult and entrenched nature of the issues at hand, highlighting the importance of perseverance and unity in overcoming the obstacles.

He wrote on X:

My dear Nigerian Youths, I trust that by now you all know what we’re up against. We can never make an omelet without breaking eggs. The powers that be are demonically entrenched.

“We are led by people who are thieves, dishonest, insane, intolerable and don’t give a damn if we live or die. This is the fight of our lives and you guys are my bragging right.

“We can defeat this monster that has befallen us, we need to get louder and go pro max”.

The protests, which began last week, aim to address the high cost of living and demand action from the government to reduce prices of essential commodities.

Despite attempts to discourage the protesters, including appeals from President Bola Tinubu, demonstrators continued to take to the streets in several states to voice their demands.

Following alleged suppression by security forces on Monday, the turnout for the protests decreased across the country on Tuesday.
