Nollywood actor Francis Duru has announced the passing of his son, Ifeanyi, on his Instagram page.
In a heartfelt message, Francis Duru described his son as a lion who fiercely fought for his life.
He acknowledged God’s will in the situation, while also expressing his personal struggle to come to terms with the loss.
Francis shared his deep love for his son , promising to always remember him, while bidding him farewell, and wishing him peace.
Sharing a picture of his late son, he wrote:
“My champ!! My lion…you fought like a lion…if this is the way He wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful…Ifeanyi, my champ….I will miss you, son… will forever love you…Rest in peace, son…rest…I give you thanks, lord!”.
Few months ago, NollyWood Actor Yul Edochie also lost his first son, Kambilichukwu.
According to reports, Kambii was rushed to the hospital after falling unconscious.
He reportedly collapsed on Wednesday while playing football in school.
A source who spoke to Vanguard on condition of anonymity revealed that Yul has confirmed Kambilichukwu’s death as the time this report was filed.
Sister to the late boy’s mum, May Edochie, who was at the scene said the boy read throughout the night preparing for his exam today. After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football and that’s when he developed a seizure and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital. All efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive, the report added.
This comes two months after Yul Edochie and his first wife May, celebrated their first son as he turned 16 on January; showering encomiums and blessings on him.
