Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane has been arrested and is set to face criminal charges over false allegations against his colleague, Davido.
Recall days before Davido’s wedding, Dammy Krane had called the former a murderer, also claiming that the DMW boss was only getting married because Chioma caught him cheating.
His latest statement seems to have gotten him into trouble as Davido’s lawyer, gave him 24 hours to retract all offensive publications against Davido on his social media handles. He was also asked to refrain from further publication of defamatory statements against Davido on any platform or risk facing legal actions.
Unbothered by the lawsuit, Dammy Krane further alleged that he was a witness to what Davido did to the late Tagbo, who was his friend.
In a fresh post made by Dammy Krane himself, he claimed he has been arrested and will face criminal charges for defamatory statements and slanderous publications against the singer.
The My Dear crooner made the revelation in different posts on X, added that the police arrested him due to a petition that he is into flutterwave and crypto scam but he knows it’s a ruse.

Recall that for years now, Davido and Dammy Krane have been at loggerheads after the latter accused him of owing him money. In response, Davido highlighted his support for Dammy Krane in the past, including providing him with accommodation when he needed it. However, Dammy Krane maintained that this support does not negate the financial debt owed to him.
This disagreement has escalated over time, with Dammy Krane repeatedly calling out Davido on social media, accusing him of being a habitual debtor. He had even claimed that the singer almost tried to kill him, recounting his harrowing near-fatal incident at a Lagos nightclub club late last year.
