Popular Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, a former Guinness World Record holder, has announced the launch of her Christmas Menu Cooking Class.

Set to run from November 4 to December 9, 2024, the online class aims to empower women and aspiring chefs across Nigeria and beyond by providing valuable culinary skills and career opportunities.

In this 13th edition of her cooking class, held exclusively on Telegram, Hilda Baci is offering participants the chance to win incredible prizes, including a brand new 2018 Hyundai Sonata and a ₦10 million cash prize.

Registration for the course is now open, with a fee of ₦50,000, and aspiring chefs are encouraged to sign up via her Instagram page, @myfoodbyhilda, before the November 3 deadline.

Reflecting on her journey since the inception of the class in 2021, Hilda shared her excitement about the growth and impact of the initiative.

“With every edition, we’ve not just taught cooking, but we’ve woven a tapestry of dreams, aspirations, and endless possibilities This year, we’re excited to continue this beautiful tradition, opening doors to new opportunities for our participants,” she stated.

The Christmas Menu Cooking Class will reportedly cover over 160 recipes, advanced plating techniques, pricing strategies, and video editing skills for both beginners and advanced learners.

Alongside honing their culinary craft, participants will acquire the knowledge necessary to thrive in the food industry.

“My commitment to empower women is at the heart of this initiative. The more women we can train to become economically stable, the better our society will be,” Hilda emphasized.

“The academy aims to cultivate a new generation of chefs who can navigate the complexities of the food industry, with a focus on building successful careers in cuisine.
