Nigerian music producer, Oluwaseyi Akerele, better known as Shizzi has sparked a buzz on the internet due to a recent disclosure in an interview.
Shizzi who appeared as a guest on Inspiration FM, 92.3 FM was quizzed on his favourite album between Wizkid’s ‘Ayo (Joy)’ and Superstar (Wizkid’s debut album) which he produced.
Responding, Shizzi avowed that although ‘Ayo’ had good songs, the ‘Superstar’ album shaped his career.
He thanked Wizkid for believing in him, adding that the album permitted him to show the world how good he was.
Shizzi recounted how he grew up in Ogba, fetching water daily without a place to stay.
The record producer ended by saying that it was Wizkid’s ‘Love My Baby’ track that Davido listened to that prompted him to reach out to him.

The disclosure subsequently triggered a variety of reactions from netizens. Some fans of Wizkid took to the comment section to refer to Davido as a Wizkid fanboy.
Also recall that at the peak of Wizkid’s rant about Davido on X, he described Davido as a fanboy who often tries to associate with him through any means possible.
