Olayinka Solomon opens up on postpartum struggle 1 month after childbirth

  • Olayinka Solomon has opened up on some of the issues that has plagued her since the birth of her baby, one month ago.
  • The actress disclosed suffering memory loss and anger issues amongst other things.

Nigerian film actress Olayinka Solomon, popularly known as Ogo Mushin in Yoruba movies has shared her postpartum struggle, barely one month after welcoming her fourth child.

Taking to her Instagram page, Olayinka questioned other mums on what changed after their childbirth experience.

Sharing her own situation, the actress revealed that she now gets angry on impulse and over little things and also battles severe memory loss.

In her words:

“Postpartum mom.
What changed after childbirth?
Mine, I get angry over little things and memory loss; we can gist now, next minute, I don’t remember”.

“What changed????
I don’t get full…I can eat now, next minute am hungry.”

When one of her colleagues, Sotayo Gaga tackled her for being an ‘OG’, apparently because she is a mother of four, Ogo Mushin stated that this experience is quite different from her other three.

Recall on January 9, 2025, Olayinka Solomon and her husband, Olasunkanmi Mabinu-Ori announced the arrival of their first child, a boy after tying the knot in September 2021.

Taking to her official photo and video sharing platform, Instagram to share the good news, Olayinka Solomon in a joint post with her hubby revealed she now has a newborn.

The movie star called her bundle of joy her greatest blessing and tiny miracle. She then shared photos of herself and her husband on a hospital bed cuddling their newborn in their arms. Olayinka Solomon wrote:

“With hearts full of love and joy, we welcome our baby boy into the world. You are the greatest blessing we could ever dream of, a tiny miracle that has already filled our lives with endless happiness….”

Over 4000 comments filled the post, with fans, colleagues and well wishers congratulating the parents
