Nigerian singer and label boss, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, better known as Portable has gone on social media to cry out over his bar/ restaurant – Odogwu, his uncompleted building and hotel.
The controversial singer shared documents from the Ogun State Planning And Development Permit Authority, Abeokuta, warning him of illegal construction without receiving necessary approval permit from the necessary quarters.
It stated that if necessary steps aren’t taken in three days, the bar and restaurant will be demolished.
Portable revealed that the government sealed his new but yet to be completed building and hotel, detained over 20 artistes, customers, employees and those he assists.
The Zazuu Crooner claimed drinks, cars, phones, jbl speakers, motorcycles and more were carted away as well.
The singer called on the state government to look into his matter, stating that events are being booked in that building, asides from selling drinks.
Portable pointed out the irony at which he has been helping the government by putting lights on the streets, yet they are shutdown his property, and are threatening to demolish it. In his words:
“I believe in Eledumare Nobody can fall me Ọmọ Olohun.
They pack everybody, they took more than 20 people both Artist and customers and they pack cars and bikes including peoples phone and jbl. All the people that came for help they pack them and they seal my new uncompleted building and hotel. Why? In my home town and we no follow them fight, pack all the drink that we are selling at ODOWGU bar and food. WHY? Government should please look into this.
I am using here to book events and shows not only drink.
I am promoting people and helping people here.Make Government ask I put light for everywhere and before government come for road repair na me call them to help us. Why will they do that at my property that I am using to feed my family?
Them later come attack me at where I dey but God pass them”.
