VDM backs Pastor Damina’s criticism of gospel artists charging high show fees like Davido

His fiery words have now been amplified by controversial social media crusader, Martins Vincent Otse, aka Verydarkman (VDM), who has been on an unrelenting warpath against gospel sensation, Mercy Chinwo.

VDM, known for his no-holds-barred approach, had earlier slammed Mercy Chinwo, alleging that the video she shared against her ex-manager, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, aka Eezee Tee, over embezzlement and royalties was deliberately edited to manipulate public sympathy.

Now, in a fresh video, he has doubled down on his stance, backed his claims with a recording of Pastor Abel Damina, who categorically likened gospel singers to secular artists like Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage.

The fiery preacher did not hold back, lamented how gospel artists demand outrageously high fees just like Afrobeats superstars, despite branding themselves as ministers of God.

After playing the clip, VDM went in for the kill, threw down the gauntlet to Mercy Chinwo and her supporters. He refuted allegations that he had been paid to discredit her and challenged her fans to counter his claims—claims he insists are nothing but the cold, hard truth.
