Popular TikToker and content creator, Peller, has shed light on his impressive earnings on the platform, revealing that he makes between N15 – N20 million weekly.
In a recent interview on Channels TV’s Rubbin’ Minds with media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Peller addressed the speculation surrounding his income, dismissing the claim that he makes ₦200 million as false.
He explained that his initial intention on TikTok was not to make money, but rather to create content and engage with his audience.
Peller attributed his success on the platform to his strategic approach to content creation.
He noted that when he asks for gifts, his views tend to decrease, but when he simply talks to his audience, his views increase.
This insight led him to adopt a live streaming strategy, where he talks to his audience without asking for gifts. Surprisingly, he still amasses significant amounts of money, often ranging from $2,000 to $3,000 for a 20-30 minute live stream.
Despite his impressive earnings, Peller revealed that he doesn’t go live every day, opting instead for a more selective approach.
He explained that he goes live around three times a week, and has even made as much as $10,000 in a single live stream.
Peller also shared his understanding of TikTok’s revenue system, noting that the platform takes a percentage of the earnings, resulting in a lower withdrawal amount. For instance, if he earns $2,000, he can only withdraw around $1,500 due to TikTok’s commission.
