Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has addressed allegations made by a production manager, who claimed that he left a movie set without completing his shoot.
Actress Ogundare Fatima had publicly appealed to her colleague, Rotimi Salami to return to the movie set after he left without completing his continuity scenes.
In reaction to this, Rotimi Salami took to Instagram to share his side of the story, stating that he was initially contacted by his senior colleague, Lekan Olatunji, for a two-day movie project.
According to Rotimi Salami, the shoot was rescheduled four times, and on the final scheduled date, he requested mobilization and received N100,000.
Despite the payment, Rotimi Salami claimed that he arrived on set in Abeokuta at 2:30 pm due to car issue.
He stated that a specific time was allocated for his appearance, and there were no plans for him to stay overnight.
The actor explained that he had to leave the set due to delays from the movie crew, as he had an important appointment in Lagos. He denied the production manager’s claims, stating that they aimed to defame him.
He wrote:
